Many things have changed since the Piazza Brothers became involved in the family tradition of making wine with dad for their grandpa.  It was a wonderful and huge annual event.  John recalls when he was five years old shopping for grapes at the local market, working in the cellar with the wine, setting up the barrels, jugs and equipment.   Everything had to be just right - the grapes, the equipment and even the weather, were important factors to Grandpa who oversaw the entire process. The "Family Wine" stems from a long standing, time honored tradition that came from Italy.  To this day the brothers feel the same way – “It’s the blood of our family”.

     Today, the roots of that family tradition run deep.  They guide the Piazza Brothers to create the finest wines possible, combining Modern Technology and The Old World Art of Winemaking. Working with professional brokers on the West Coast we begin the process by securing the highest quality California grapes.  All wines under our care are monitored regularly by one of the east coast's top rated laboratories.
